Peggy Jane (Schultz) Orr, age 67, of Springfield passed away on Oct. 25, 2016.  She was born December 16, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Charles and Billie Schultz and grew up in Chaffee, MO before moving to Springfield where she graduated from Parkview High School in 1966.  In 1968 she met the love of her life, Jerry Darwin Orr, who said she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen, and they were married on March 30, 1969.  Together they owned and operated the Captain's Table Seafood and Steak Restaurant in Springfield and later Key Largo Seafood Company.  They continued their love of working together at the Elk's Lodge #409 where she was a bartender and Jerry was the Chef.  For nearly 50 years they served food and drinks together in Springfield and made numerous friends during this time.  In her free time Peggy cared for and loved her family including her two sons and five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, brother William Michael Schultz, and sister Linda Lee Schultz

Peggy is survived by her mother, husband, sons Sean Charles Orr (Connie King) and Brian Michael Orr (Melanie) of Springfield, grandchildren Shelbey Nichole Orr, Audra Grace Orr, Kennedy Jane Orr, Hunter Michael Orr, and LaLonna Nicole Walden, and brothers Steve Schultz (Alice) of Eads, TN, Mark Schultz of Chaffee, MO, and Rocky Schultz (De'Shea Elliott) of Chaffee, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 28, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
