Peggy Kay (Henbest) Bowler, 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 with her husband by her side. Peggy was born on August 27th, 1941 to Clifford and Evelyn Henbest (Cassville). She graduated from Parkview High School in 1960 and went to work for Lily Tulip in 1961 until her retirement in 2001. Peggy married her best friend, Johnny Ray Bowler in 1962 and went on to have two sons. She is survived by her husband, Johnny; her mother Evelyn Henbest; son Tim Bowler and his wife Darby; son David Bowler and his wife Amber; as well as 4 grandsons Ethan, Wyatt, Evan, and Owen. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Henbest. Everyone who knew Peggy loved her; she was a wonderful wife, a beloved mother, and Grandma/Mom-Mom to her grandsons. She will be greatly missed. Many thanks to Dr. Hoos and his staff, St. Johns Hospital Staff, and Hospice for their care over the last 10 years. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 28th from 6-8 pm at Gorman-Sharpf Funeral Home. A graveside service will be officiated by Dwight Samuels and Joe Bright at Hazelwood Cemetery on Friday, July 29th at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairhaven Children's Home (Strafford).
