Pearl Louise Spires Healey was born September 19, 1938 in Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Billy Spires. She is survived by her husband Robert Patrick Healey whom she married July 21, 1956 and who enjoyed 64 wonderful years together. She is also survived by her children Robert Healey Jr. of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dianna Schluter of St. Petersburg, Florida, David Healey and his wife Cheryl of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Deneen Healey of Logan Iowa (wife of her deceased son Stephen Healey), her sisters Shirley Hart and June Barnhart and 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandkids. Pearl moved back to Springfield from Placitas, New Mexico in September of 2013 to her birthplace to enjoy being surrounded by her family and new friends.

Pearl is a proud member of St. Joseph Church. She loved her time spent attending mass and in prayer for her family and friends.

Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, with a Visitation to follow until 5:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

The family ask in lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation to St. Joseph Church's School, 1115 N Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO 65802 for the purposes of education it would be greatly appreciated.

She burst into our lives and charmed us with her beautiful smile. Thankfully, she stayed awhile. We didn't want to let her go. We knew she must. God took her by the hand and held her in His arms. Now, she's filling Heaven with her charms and smiles.
