Paula "Sue" Thomas Sue was born September 22, 1933. She departed this life on March 29, 2013 after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. She had been a resident of Magnolia Square for the past six months. Sue was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Loren (1994) and her Father and Mother. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Pam and Rick Vercelli; Tamara and Andy Stark and her grandson, Justin T. Cox. She was a wonderful homemaker, always seeing to her families every need while never complaining. Sue was a long time member of Pathways United Methodist (formally Dale Street United Methodist Church). Sue had a very special place in her heart for the children and grandchildren of the late Jim and Donna Cobban. Their love for her was very precious. A visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:00 am with services at 11:00 am in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1465 E. Primrose, Springfield, Missouri 65804.
