Paula Marie Reed, age 78, of Nixa, passed away at 9:30 a.m. December 23, 2023 in Nixa, Missouri. She was born on January 25, 1945 to John and Carol Farris in Manteo, North Carolina. Paula was a member of Hopedale Baptist Church in Ozark and Southeast Gospel Chapelin Springfield.

Paula is preceded in death by father, John Farris, mother, Carol Farris, and brother, John Farris.

Paula is survived by husband, William Reed of Nixa; her sons, Richard Mansel II (wife Angela Mansel) of Nixa and Keith Mansel (wife Leslie Mansel) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Clayton Mansel (wife Riley Martin), Mackenzie Martin (husband Josh Martin), Noah Mansel, and Amelia Mansel; and sisters, Jennifer Beers of Nixa and Julie Farris of Savannah, Georgia.

Paula Reed's service will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. with Ross Ragland officiating at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held directly before the ceremony at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
