Paul George Hummasti, Professor of History at Missouri State University, passed away Wednesday August, 18. He was born May 4, 1945, in Astoria, Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Terttu; his four daughters Satu, Maari, Sarah, and Laura; his grandson, Thelius Paul; his two brothers, Arnorld and Neil; his sons-in-law, Mark and Michael; and all of his relatives and friends, especially in Astoria, Helsinki, and Springfield. A memorial service will be held this Saturday, August 21 at 11:00am, at Christ Episcopal Church. He will be buried in Astoria, Oregon. Arrangements are under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
