Obituary

Patricia Rose Page, 84, died at her home in Springfield, Missouri, on October 17, 2020, following a brief illness.  She was born on August 30, 1936, in Climax Springs, Missouri, a daughter of Jacob Ray and Sarah Luella (Miller) Salmons. Patricia is survived by her husband, Dr. Roy C. Page, Springfield, MO; daughters, Elaine Woodson and her husband, Mark, Springfield, MO; Diana Myers and her husband, Joe, Grain Valley, MO; Nancy McDowell, Jefferson City MO; grandchildren, Jonathan Woodson and wife Allyssa, St. Louis, MO; Alexander Woodson, Springfield, MO; Hallee Sitler, Kansas City, MO; Joe Sitler, Kansas City, MO; Lindsay McDowell, Chicago, IL; Katie McDowell, Holts Summit, MO; great grandson, Gavin McDowell, Holts Summit, MO; brothers Joe Salmons and wife Barbara, Bentonville, AR; Ron Salmons and wife Mary Lou, Weslaco, TX; sister-in-law, Ruth Salmons, Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Frances Norfleet, Betty Nesbit, Cora Salmons; brother, John R. Salmons; infant daughter, Suzanne Renee Norfleet.

Patricia served as the Executive Director of the Missouri Dental Board for fourteen years.  She was the founder and first president of the American Association of Dental Administrators.  Patricia was the Director of Scientific, Clinical and Educational Affairs with the American Academy of Periodontology from 1989 until her retirement in 1999.

The family would like to express our thanks to Integrity Hospice and Visiting Angels for their support during Patricia's illness.

Private services will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO. on October 22.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date when Covid virus restrictions are lifted.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lost and Found Grief Center, P.O. Box 3008, Springfield, MO 65804.
