Patricia Ann Kruse of Springfield, passed away in peace Monday, October 17, 2016 at the age of 85, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Norman "Bud" Kruse, parents Elma and C.E. Mitchem, and many dear friends.

Pat was born on September 8, 1931 in Springfield, MO where she was raised. She graduated from Central High School and married Bud on February 24, 1950. A hard worker, after the passing of her husband, Pat was a Shelter Insurance Agent for over 25 years. She selflessly lived her life dedicated to others, and her proudest accomplishment was raising her five children Steve, Mike, David, Kathy and Karen. She is survived by her children, their spouses, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Ed Mitchem and sister-in-law Rebecca Hogan.

The world lost a beautiful soul and a family lost their light. Please join us in honoring the woman we were lucky enough to know and love. Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM.
