IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Felton
July 20, 1941 – January 31, 2024
Patricia Ann Felton (Baird) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, surrounded by the love of her son and family. Pat was born in Kansas on July 20, 1941. A graduate of Neosho High School, she moved to Springfield, attended Southwest Missouri State for one year, and graduated from St. John's School of Nursing in 1962.
Pat was one of 10 children; she had one son, John David Felton, and was very involved in her family's activities. She most enjoyed sporting events that supported her son and was personally involved in the lives of her brothers and sisters.
Pat loved life, loved her family, and loved her friends. She participated in family activities and friends. She loved playing cards and watching football each Sunday. Later in life, she was a devoted Kansas City Chief fan. She was a strong single mother whose dedication to her son was unwavering.
Pat's playtime was spent with family and her favorite grandchild, Jonathan, who was involved in soccer and basketball throughout middle and high school. And became a Jayhawk fan, supporting Jonathan, who was the head manager of the KU basketball team.
Pat is survived by her son, John David Felton, Amy (John) Felton, and grandchild, Jonathan Alexander Felton (Leawood, Kansas). Pat provided an unwavering inspiration to many with her determination as she overcame breast cancer. In place of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION OF THE OZARKS https://give.bcfo.org. Supporting teamwork- whether a patient, volunteer, or donor – has an experience that improves their world. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, address 2200 W. Republic Rd. in Springfield, Missouri, on Friday, February 9th, 2024, with a gathering at 10:30 am and a mass following at 11:00 am.
