Patricia Lou Dugan, 52, of Springfield, passed away on December 24th, 2017 while in her home.  Patricia leaves her sister, Michele Day; brother-in-law, Scott Day; and nephew, Jesse Day.

Patricia was born on May 12, 1965 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri to Ralph Benton and Edna Doris (Hyde) Dugan.  She graduated from Glendale High School and received a Masters of Education degree from Drury University.  She worked in Springfield Public Schools as a special education teacher and computer programs instructor for parents and child.

Patricia was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many.  She stayed involved with current events and implementation of positive community change.  Patricia will be greatly missed and remembered for all the lives she has touched.

Public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804.  Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm, immediately after visitation, in the funeral home.
