IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ruth
Davidson
March 21, 1938 – July 17, 2019
Patricia Ruth Davidson was born on March 21, 1938 in Moberly, Missouri. She was adopted at birth by her loving parents Elaine and Glenn Roach. John and Patricia were married on February 28, 1965 and have been happily married for 54 years. Pat and John adopted two children, Teresa and Jonathan. They have seven grandchildren, Symantha, Viola, Anthony, Jasmine, Jacob, Alex and Rebecca. Later in life, Pat discovered that she had a sister, Brenda. Patricia has taken pride in loving her family and enjoyed watching them grow.
When Patricia and her family moved to Springfield in the late 1950's this changed her life forever as she met her now husband John. Pat worked at Oklahoma Tire where John had spotted her after running errands for Davidson's Cafeteria, which his parents owned and continued to stop by after running errands. They began dating and a few years later became husband and wife. Pat and John spent the first year of their marriage in Nashville as John was stationed there with the United States Air Force. After his service was completed, they returned to Springfield where Pat retired from SMSU to focus on being the greatest mom ever. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, crafts, sewing, lots of camping and traveling. She enjoyed her time with friends and family over the years, card games and trips to the lake, shows and enjoying different cuisine together. She enjoyed life to the fullest as her and John have traveled the world together, they have been through rough times and great times and their love for each other grew stronger every day.
Patricia Ruth Davidson spent her time here on earth influencing and encouraging everyone around her; spreading love and joy. Pat will be missed by all.
