IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia "Patty"
Ann Gardner
October 27, 1946 – August 16, 2023
Patricia "Patty" Ann Gardner
10/27/1946 – 08/16/2023
Patricia Ann Gardner was reunited in heaven with her husband of over 50 years Bob Gardner on the morning of August 16, 2023. She has missed him dearly after he was suddenly called to heaven earlier this year. As Patty stated before her death, "I'm so excited to soon hug your dad and run into the arms of Jesus"!
Patty was born October 27, 1946 in Jefferson City, MO to Raymond and Melba Sullivan. Her family later moved to Cassville, Mo. to be closer to family. Patty graduated from Cassville High School and some of the happiest times in her life were when she got to get together with her high school classmates at least once a year to spend time together. She attended college in Springfield, MO where she met the love of her life Bob. They were married on May 31st, 1969. They had two children Kyle and Kamille. Patty worked at the Ferrell Duncan Clinic and Mercy Clinics until she retired in 2020.
Patty loved participating in church events at Second Baptist Church and spending a lot of her time doing various volunteer activities with the church. She also loved being a Reading Buddy to kids through the Springfield Public Schools, and of course supporting Bob through all his various ideas and his clown ministry. Her greatest joy of course was spending time with her five granddaughters Rachel, Abigail, Nora, Anna and Maggie. Her and Bob made it a point in their lives to be at as many sporting events, school activities, and pretty much anything else their granddaughters wanted them to be at.
Patty is survived by her son Kyle Gardner and granddaughter Rachel, daughter Kamille and her husband Andy Schultz and granddaughters Abigail, Nora, Anna, and Maggie. She is also survived by numerous family and friends who were also blessed with having Patty in their lives.
