Pamela Bartos Schlemmer, 76, died February 16, 2022 in Springfield, MO.

She was born in Kansas City, MO on February 19, 1945 to Joseph Milo and Helen (Fritz) Bartos. After graduating from Ruskin High School in 1963, she received an Associate of Arts degree from Metropolitan Junior College in Kansas City, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Kansas (1967) and a Master of Arts degree in Education (1971) from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. In 1968, she married Dr. Roger B. Schlemmer. She assisted in his medical practice and worked in nursing in Pittsburg, KS. Pamela is a member of Phi Theta Kappa nursing honor society, PEO Chapter JL and Trinity Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Roger Schlemmer of the home; sister, Jodelle Bartos Lee (Eddie) of Springfield; daughters Katherine Watson (Todd) of Dallas and Gwendolyn Vena (Toby) of Cherryvale, KS; granddaughters Sydney and Abigail Watson of Dallas; foster daughter, Jennifer Hubbard of Maine; nephew, Rob Lee of Springfield and niece, Piper Lee of Springfield.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
