Pamela Elizabeth Goodwin, age 65, was born to Johnny and Mary Starks on April 13, 1948. Pam was a lifelong resident of Springfield, MO growing up on Summit Street with her parents and four siblings. Pam was preceded in death by both parents, Johnny and Mary Starks; sister, Clarita Scott; and brother, Gary Starks Sr. Pam passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Pam is survived by her older brother, Juan Starks Sr. (wife Loyce) and baby brother, Ricky Starks Sr. (wife Jewell); ex-husbands, Leroy Goodwin, Nathaniel Parker and a host of many family and friends. Pam is the mother of five children Dedrian, Jonnetta, Michael, Damian (Tanya Hankins), and William Goodwin (Jennifer Haines) all of Springfield, MO; and eight grandkids Rheaya, Kristofer, LaKee`, Daija, Cody, Caleb, Brooklynn, and Pyerce. Pam leaves behind "Special Friends" Everett/Ruby Small, Robert/Marie Mickel, and Nettie Phillips; and special cousins, Deacon Lavester Trout and Duke Winkfield. A host of special doctors whose lives she touched in many and different ways: Dr. Heath Morgan, Dr. Susan Woody, Dr. Gregory Ledger and Anthony Giglio, Dr. Rana Tenorio, Dr. Kater, Dr. Koger, Dr. Roger Oghlakian, Dr. Duff and partner in practice Robert as well as the great hospitalist and ER doctors and nurses. Pam will be missed but never forgotten.
