Pamela Finkenbinder Edwards, of Nixa, MO, passed away at 10:21 am on August 25, 2022, at the age of 73 after a long-fought battle with dementia.

Pam was born in Springfield, Missouri on December 8, 1948, to parents Fred and Roberta Finkenbinder (Day). She graduated from Parkview High School in 1966 and went on to earn her BSEd at Southwest Missouri State University in 1970 where she was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years David Edwards; her daughter Christi Stewart and son-in-law Daniel Stewart of Bartlett, Tennessee; granddaughter Julia Stewart of Knoxville, Tennessee; and sister Patricia Misemer and brother-in-law Max Misemer of Delray Beach Florida. Pam is also survived by many cousins, a niece, great-nephew, and great-niece.

Pam was predeceased by her parents, an infant brother, and many aunts and uncles.

Pam, along with her husband, enjoyed traveling, antiquing, and spending time with her family and her many friends. She was an active member of University Heights Baptist Church where she served as deacon and on many boards, committees, and mission groups.

A Celebration of Life will be held at University Heights Baptist Church on October 14, at 11:00 am. A reception will be held immediately after the service.
