Otis E. "Gene" Potter, 88, passed away April 27, 2009, in Christian Health Care. Survivors are his wife, the former Ruth Penn; daughters, Susan Potter and Jayna Ross and husband, Don; sisters, Lorene Anderson and Viola King and husband, Joe; and many nieces and nephews. He was a retiree from the Frisco and Burlington Northern Railroad and the U.S Army. Interment will be in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. In honoring his request, no services are planned.
