Obituary

Orlena Woolery departed this life on May 2, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born on August 12, 1920, in Brighton, MO, to Roscoe and Chloe Pyeatt. She accepted Christ as her Saviour at an early age, and at the time of her death, she was a member of Rogersville First Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Walter Woolery, and to this union two daughters were born. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, sister and brother in law, Louise and Carl Arnold; niece, Orlena Jean Campbell; and sons in law, Leslie Klepper and Vic Vickers. She is survived by daughters, Jan Pitts and Sharon Scheiderer (Carroll); special friend, Jeanne Shipley; granddaughters, Kimberly Borders (Rob); Kelly Vickers, and Jami Vickers Flanigan; great grandchildren, Kathleen and Evan Borders, and Maci, Lilli, and Jack Flanigan, and grandsons Steve, David, and Bruce Scheiderer and their families. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 6, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. An informal visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday after 2 pm.
