Opal C. Turner, 91, Springfield, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015.  She was born March 23, 1924 in Boonville, AR, the daughter of Chester Clay and Sue Frances (Lacy) Bell.
Opal was a line worker for Litton Industries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Huey and her second husband, Tillman Turner.
Opal is survived by two sons, Stephen and Bob Ivey; brother, Ivan Bell; eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Evergreen Cemetery, Republic, MO, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  No visitation is scheduled.
