Oleta Mae Huff Bradford, 82, Walnut Shade, Missouri passed away at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015 in Walnut Shade. She was born December 21, 1932 in Chestnutridge, MO, to Noble Huff and Lily Dale Huff. She was saved as a young girl and has lived her life dedicated to her Savior and spreading the gospel thru example. She was united in marriage to Walter Earl Bradford on December 17, 1949. She has been a wife, mother, homemaker and helper to her community. She was a member of Healing River Worship Center from the time her mother Lily Huff began a Sunday school in the Oak Ridge School House. A great helpmate to her husband, Earl as he became a Sunday school teacher and youth leader. Entertaining in a two room log house, making feast from foods they raised as farmers and gardeners. Oleta was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Earl Bradford; her parents, Noble and Lily Huff; two sisters, Maxine Clay and Melba Blansit; three brothers, Alvin Huff, Noble Huff, Jr. and Leonard Huff, who died at age nine from complications with Scarlett Fever; and granddaughter, Bethany Snider. She is survived by her children, Deanna Edwards and husband, Jack; Anita Allen and her husband, Jim; Betty Snider and her husband, Tim; W.E. Bradford, Jr. and his wife, Jeanna, all of Walnut Shade, MO; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many, many more she claimed as her own. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Healing River Worship Center with the Reverend Tim Snider and Sam Kaunley officiating under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Schupbach Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. the day of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Healing River Worship Center Ministries.
