O'dell Wallace was born December 25, 1945 to Daniel and Helen Wallace in Shreveport, LA. O'dell known to many as Hydee, loved cooking BBQ. He thought he was the best at playing cards with family and friends and dancing and having a good time listening to the blues. O'dell is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Helen; two brothers, Cleo King Saloman and Daniel Jr.; one sister, Helen Davis; and grandson, Joseph Johnson. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Wallace, Springfield, MO and Dana Smith, Tulsa, OK; son, Daniel Wallace, Tulsa, OK; three sisters, Yennie Williams, Ruth Wallace and Charlotte Witcom; two aunts of Shreveport; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. O'dell was a great friend, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. O'dell, you will truly be missed by those who knew you and will never be forgotten.
