Nyal J. Goforth, 82, of Mt. Vernon, MO, passed from this life on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 5:04 am. He was a member of Union Grove Church in Aurora, MO. He was a veteran.

He was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother, 2 uncles, 2 aunts, 2 brothers-in-law.

Nyal is survived by his wife, Gracie; daughters Audra Young (Ronnie, Jr.) and Deanne Dion; grandchildren Nyal J. Anthony (Kymberly), Clarissa Goforth (Chance Sullivan) and Macey Dion; great-granddaughter K. J. Genevieve Goforth; sisters Kathy Arbuckle and Pauline Thompson, nephews, nieces and a host of friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life next year in October. No date as of now. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Vernon City Cemetery.
