Norma Lea (MacKay) Wilson, 81, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2009, in Willard Care Center, Willard, Mo. Norma was born in 1928 in Lee's Summit, Mo., and was a graduate of Central High School. Norma was married in 1949 to George Wilson of Mission, Kan. They moved to Branson, Mo.in 1981, worked at Silver Dollar City, and moved to Republic, Mo. in 1993. Along with raising four children, Norma enjoyed sewing, camping, golfing and many crafts. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, brother and his wife. Survivors include husband, George F. Wilson of Springfield, Mo.; daughter, Georgia Lea Slack, Springfield, Mo.; son, Buck Wilson and wife Margie, Holts Summit, Mo.; daughter, Connie Wells and husband Corkey, Leawood, Kan.; and daughter, Vicki Lindsay and husband George (Rusty) of Willard, Mo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Agnes Cathedral with burial following at Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, February 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
