Norma Lee Barnes Kellogg, 94 of Springfield passed away at 8:36 p Friday, October 30, 2015 at James River Care Center surrounded by her family. She was born March 7, 1921 in Springfield to Arthur E. and Gola Ellen Painter Hurd. She and Roy owned and operated Barnes Furniture Store for 34 years. She also volunteered with St. John's Auxiliary for 22 years. Norma enjoyed bowling, playing cards, fishing, attending the Oldfield Opry and getting together with family and friends. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barnes; second husband, Dan Kellogg; two sisters; three brothers and a niece, Betty Anderson. Norma is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 1:00 pm in Robberson Prairie Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
