It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Renee Basnett Yannizzi, age 46. Nicole was so very beautiful inside and out and went out of her way to always be kind and caring to everyone she met. Nicole was a mother to anyone that needed one, a friend to many, and an irreplaceable soul in this world. We will all miss her more than words can say or properly express.

Nicole was born on February 6, 1976, to Roxanne Boehmler Snowden and William W. M. Basnett in Quincy, Il and passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2022, in Springfield, MO.  She is survived by her daughters Emma B. Yannizzi and her husband, Ellie R. Yannizzi of Memphis, TN, her mother Roxanne B. Snowden, her sister Cassandra L. Rapert, her nephew Cameron Rapert and niece, Riley Rapert, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Boehmler, her step-siblings, step-nephews and niece, her aunts, and uncles along with many cousins and dear friends. Proceeding her in death was her father, William Basnett, her stepfather, Lonnie E Snowden and her paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Bill and Norma Basnett.

Nicole loved her family intensely and we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace.

At her request, in her final wishes, there will be no memorial service or funeral by her immediate family.
