Obituary

William Nathan Keese was a beloved and amazing child born on January 25, 2002. Nathan grew up in Springfield, MO where he shared a wonderful life with his parents Brian and Camilla Keese and his sister Anna Lynn Keese. Nathan had a sweet and vibrant personality with a sensitive spirit. He was easily touched by many things and unashamedly expressed a love for those things that made his heart "mushy". These tender moments were expressed continuously when he spent time with loved ones and knelt to pray to his Lord. The greatest love he shared was with his dear family. Nathan adored his little sister, Anna Lynn, and showed a gentleness and compassion with her that was very uncommon at his early age. Nathan also deeply enjoyed spending time with his mother going to the movies, playing board games or trading cards, and doing anything that gave them time alone together. Nathan was a second grader at Rountree Elementary where he enthusiastically excelled in his studies. He played on the same soccer team with his great friends since the age of three. Nathan also loved just being silly and sharing life and love with his close friends whether imagining fantastic things or making up funny names for each other, the joy they shared was priceless. Nathan loved football, especially Kansas City Chiefs Football, and was looking forward to making the team someday. Nathan loved spending time outdoors with his dad roasting marshmallows, camping, throwing the football, playing soccer and fishing. It was during one of these special times that Nathan transitioned from this life while enjoying the company of his loving father. They were together when a horrible storm caused a fishing accident that took them home to the love of their Heavenly Father. We take great comfort in our faith, knowing that as Nathan left this life behind, he was instantly embraced in eternal life by God's gracious love. We celebrate Nathan's life and are so blessed that we were allowed to share the beauty of who he was and will always be in our hearts. He is survived by his mother Camilla and sister Anna Lynn; his great-grandmother Camilla Felker of Selmer, TN; his grandparents Lloyd and Barbara Tennyson of Selmer, TN and Craig and Jenny Keese of Greenville, SC; his aunts and uncles, John and Jennifer Threadgill of Memphis, TN, their children Hunter, Parker, Taylor and Summer, and Scott and Meredith Dobson of Greenville, SC and their children Ava, Samuel and Reeves. Donations may be made to Camilla Keese and sent to: Regions Bank 2927 South Campbell Avenue Springfield, MO 65807
