Nathan Alan Crowder, 38, Springfield, Missouri passed away Oct. 12, 2017 in his home.

We are shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Nathan.

Nathan was born in Kansas City, MO, July 31, 1979.

Before losing his eyesight, he worked several different jobs.  He loved reading and listening to books and music. One of his favorite things was watching, listening and collecting Star Trek memorabilia.  When he was younger he was always riding his bike, roller blading, ice skating and just hanging with his friends.

Nathan leaves behind many good friends in Springfield.  He also leaves behind his mother, Kelly Eldred of Springfield, MO; his father Larry W. Crowder, of Kansas City, MO; his sister, Angela Wilfong and two young nephews, Sean and Wyatt Newberry, of Bolivar, MO; his grandmother, Julia "Judy" Dahms, of Springfield, MO; and his step-father, Tim Eldred of Strafford, MO. He also behind relatives in and around Kansas City, MO.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
