Nancy was born on July 7, 1934, in Springfield, MO to Paul and Helen (Spears) Ament and died peacefully in her home surrounded by family. She started school at Lakewoods one room schoolhouse. She graduated from Senior High (Central) and attended SMS where she was a member of Tri-Sigma, and she met her future husband.
She married Ed Wagoner in 1953 and had many years of enjoyment raising their family, traveling, and antiquing in New England.
She was a life-long member of First & Calvary Presbyterian Church where she was a deacon and a member of the Binnie Clements Guild. She was also a long-time member of SMMA through her art group L'Art and was involved with the American Heart Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, grandson Cory Wagoner and granddaughter Ali Rich. She is survived by three fantastic children and their spouses, Craig (Sharyn), Chip (Jackie) and Cristen Jones (Brad), four grandchildren, Erin Wagoner (Mike McClung), Matt Powell (Casey), Sarah Powell (Joe Nguyen), and Casey Wagoner (Hanna), and grandson-in-law Dustin Rich, four great-grandchildren, Luke and Dillon Rich and Jayda and Kennedy Powell. She also leaves behind many life-long friends and special friend Ernie (Richard) Bonham.
Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were a true joy in her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 21, at 10 am at First & Calvary Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow in the atrium.
