Nancy Janes Rhymes, 73, of Springfield, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on November 7, 2022 in her home with her family by her side.

She was born December 31, 1948 in Springfield, MO to Donald and Atha Janes.  She became a member of Woodlands Church in The Woodlands, TX, after she moved to the area in 2005.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Atha Janes, her father, Donald Janes, and her brother, Buddy Janes.

She is survived by her son, Daron Rhymes of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Natali Rhymes Gee of The Woodlands, TX; son-in-law, Eric Gee and her beloved grandchildren, Nala Gee and Eric Joseph (EJ) Gee.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, also at the funeral home.
