Nancy Elmira (Reynolds) Lankford Nancy Elmira (Reynolds) Lankford, 63 years, of Springfield, MO, went to dance on the streets that are Golden before the Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 4:12 a.m. in St. John's Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1948 to John Reynolds and Doris (McCarty) Reynolds. She graduated from Central High School of Springfield and married her high school sweetheart, Dennis Price. They were blessed with two children. In later years, she was married to Larry Lankford and was blessed with her third child. Nancy enjoyed many trips to Ontario, Canada with her parents, siblings and all her children. Nancy is preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Doris Reynolds. She is survived by her sister and brother, John Reynolds; her three children, David Price, Michelle, and Terry Lankford; grandchildren born to David are Steven and Sierra; and grandchildren born to Michelle include Chellsea, Ashlea, Isaiah, Grace, and Hannah. Nancy was also survived by two great-grandchildren, Josalynn and Joshua. Visitation with family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E Seminole Springfield, MO 65804. Funeral services will be Wednesday June 1, at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Denny Stevens will be officiating the service. Contributions and flowers may be sent to Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
