Nadine Marie Beck of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on July 4, 1937, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Harold and Marie Cowan. Nadine attended Hastings College, where she met the love of her life, Harold “Hilly” Beck. The couple married on August 19, 1956, in Omaha, Nebraska, and shared nearly 70 years of marriage before Hilly’s passing earlier this year.

Nadine lived a life devoted to her faith and family. She loved her husband, her children, her grandson and his wife with all her heart, and cherished every moment spent with them. Her unwavering faith guided her throughout her life, and her loved ones find peace in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her daughters, Christy Boston and Julie Beck; her grandson, Brett Boston, and his wife, Irene; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Hilly” Beck; her parents, Harold and Marie Cowan (née Work); her brother, James Cowan; and her sister, Mary Gunthert.

Graveside services will be held in Upland, Nebraska, on Saturday, October 24, at 10 am.
