Morris J. Helm (91) passed away on October 6, 2023 at home, after a long illness.  Morris grew up in Seneca, Missouri. He graduated from SMS College. After serving in the Army, he resumed his job at Union National Bank, then worked many years at Boatmen's Bank. He retired after a distinguished career in the mid-1990's.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy (Anderson); son Bruce, of Springfield; son Scott (wife Cora) and granddaughter Sarah, all of Helena, Montana.

There will be an open informal visitation from 2 pm to 6 pm on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at Clear Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to may make a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield, or the Salvation Army, or a charity of their choice.
