Monica Schmidt of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 4, 2024 after a brief illness. She was 81 years young and was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Schmidt. She is survived by daughters Sabrina Schmidt of Springfield, Mo and Andrea (John) Gerstenberger of Phoenix, AZ.

She was an amazing wife and mother and will be missed dearly. We love you, Mom.

A private burial will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
