Mona Fay (Hinds) Fath, 74, of Springfield, MO, passed away on March 26, 2013. She was born to the late Vergil and Lillie Hinds, November 11, 1938 in Springfield, MO. She was married to John Fath on April 20, 1957. Mona worked as a church secretary and at Penmac Personnel. She lived her life to serve God, her family and those around her. Her smile and gentle ways were known and loved by all. She loved being with family, working in her gardens and spending time with her church families. Mona is survived by her children and their spouses, Scott Fath, Tony and Valerie (Fath) Moreno, Doug and Fonya (Fath) Dashnaw and Michael and Mona (Fath) Hampton; grandchildren, Tyree, Isaiah, Jada, Devan, Michael and Dillion; one brother John David Hinds and wife Linda, brother-in-law Harold Futrell, sister-in-law Barbara Hinds, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Barbara and Rossalee, brothers Darrell and Loren. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, March 29, 2013 and service on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10:00am in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E.
