Minnie Leona Hull, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri. Minnie was born September 23, 1927 in Ajax, Louisiana to Earl Finch Johnson and Priscilla Caroline (Callie) Ebey. She married George William Hull on June 25, 1960, and they were sealed together in the Idaho Falls temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Minnie enjoyed volunteer service for Cox Medical Center in Springfield, as well as many years of church service. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ, often serving in the temple, and in various church callings. Genealogy was a passion for her, and she spent much of her free time researching and documenting her rich family history. To Minnie, nothing mattered more than family, and she loved to bring them all together for family gatherings. Nobody made sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, or cornbread dressing quite like she did, and nobody could pull Christmas Peanut Brittle quite as thin as she could!

Minnie is survived by her sister, Nellie Sue Johnson; her children, William Polk Cornelius, Jr., Barbara Lynette Cornelius, and George Wesley Hull; eleven grandchildren; thirty-three great- grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister.

Funeral service will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019. Interment will take place immediately following at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
