Milton “Milt” Joseph Adams Jr., affectionately known as “Superman,” “Kang,” “Milt T,” “Milton the Monster,” and “Junie,” peacefully departed this life on July 2, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on October 8, 1947, in Milwaukee Wisconsin to the late Milton Joseph Adams Sr. and Ruth Adams, who preceded him in death, along with his beloved sister, Cynthia Adams.

Milt was a man of strength, determination, and unwavering loyalty. He dedicated many years to working event security, where his dependable nature, watchful eye, and ability to connect with people earned him the respect of coworkers and patrons alike. Whether protecting others or lending a helping hand, Milt approached life with confidence and purpose.

Outside of work, Milt embraced life to the fullest. He had a passion for working out, motorcycles, basketball, martial arts, spending time at the casino, relaxing in the hot tub, and maintained a lifelong appreciation for firearms. His larger-than-life personality, infectious sense of humor, and colorful nicknames reflected the impact he made on everyone who knew him. To family and friends, he was a protector, a storyteller, and someone who never met a stranger.

Milt’s greatest joy was his family. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with those he loved, sharing laughter, wisdom, and unforgettable memories that will be treasured for generations.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Joyce Adams; his sister, Sandra Adams; his son, Shaun Adams; his daughters, Tammy (Diego), JoTesha (Chris), Nina (Chris), and Becka (Anthony); 32 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Milt’s strength, love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know him. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding us to live boldly, love deeply, and cherish every moment.

Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2026 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
