Mildred Jane Cherry, age 94 of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 in The Maples. She was born August 7, 1920 in St. Louis County, MO, the daughter of Emuil and Elenore Hall. She worked at McDonald Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis for 30 years. Mildred is survived by son, John Cherry of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Virginia Barclay of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren, Michael, Debra, Scott, Steven, Barbara and Virginia; five great-grandchildren, Justin, Devan, Anthony, Jacob and Tabitha. Graveside services will be held at 1:15 pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with Ralph Hunt officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
