Michael Eddie Adams, 69, departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019, surrounded by his family. Mike was born on August 26th, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri to Elsie and Nathaniel Adams. Mike was employed by Frisco Railroad and later transitioned to SRC/John Deere Corporation, where he dedicated over 20 years of service. He retired from John Deere in 2013. After retirement, Mike worked for Springfield Public Schools and O'Reilly Automotive. Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter and he loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Nathaniel Adams. Mike leaves behind his wife, Linda Adams, Springfield, Missouri; son Jeff Lewis (Ronda), Springfield, Missouri; two daughters, Renai Adams (Shamar), Titusville, Florida and Jamichia Adams (Barry), Springfield, Missouri, sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Mike is also survived by his brothers; Gary Adams Sr. and William Gregory Adams both of Springfield, Missouri; two nephews and two nieces. One niece, Deanna "DC" Adams, who was very special to him. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 2, at 9:00 AM, also at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
