Mentha Lee Wilson, 78, of Springfield, passed away on June 26, 2020. She was born on March 28, 1942 in Tchula, MS to Laura Lee Hillman and James McDonald. Mentha Lee attended school in Yazoo City, MS. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age. Mentha Lee moved from Yazoo City, MS to Chicago, IL in 1970. While living in Chicago, she met a lot of good friends and lived a joyful life. She moved to Springfield, MO in 2004 and was an avid member of New Hope International Ministries, until she became too ill to attend church. Mentha was a devoted mother and granny to many.

Mentha was preceded in death by her parents; eldest son, Larry McDonald; grandchild, Michael and brothers Eddie Lee, Eddie Jean, James and John.

She is survived by her children; Roosevelt McDonald, Laura Lee Turner, Eartha McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Tremain Wilson and Antonio Littleton; nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at New Hope International Ministries, with a Visitation from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
