Melba I. Searles of Springfield passed away on December 29, 2012. She was born in Medora, Ill on October 7, 1915. She married Harold Searles in 1936 who preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters, Janice Shockley and husband, Allen of Missouri, Susan Smith of Missouri and Cindy Hartman of Arizona; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, St. Louis, Missouri under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
