Max R. Sarff, 87, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Cox South Hospital. He was born February 27, 1925 in Bryant, IL. He and his wife, Donna J. Sarff, spent 67 wonderful years together. Max graduated from the University of Notre Dame, served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and was devoted to his family. He retired from Amoco Oil after 31 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Carrie Sarff. He is survived by his wife Donna, his two children Randy L. Sarff and wife Coleen of Great Falls, MT and Jan A. Sarff and wife Julianne of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren Melissa Hall and husband Rob of Pueblo, CO, Matt Sarff and wife Michelle of Phoenix, AZ and Brett T. Sarff of Hattiesburg, MS; and five great-grandchildren Andrew, Justin, Elizabeth, Zachary and Alexis. Graveside service will be Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11am in Oaks Hines Funeral Home.
