Matthew "Matt" Delaney Rogers, 36, of Springfield, MO passed away July 9, 2013 in Mercy Hospital. He was born June 22, 1977 to Mary (Melton) and Dalton J. Rogers in Springfield. Matt was a graduate of Glendale High School and received his Master's degree in Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his father. Matt is survived by his mother, Mary Thomas and step-father, Danny Thomas; brother, Jason Wayne Rogers (Melissa); niece, Hayden Rogers; nephew, Bryce Rogers; and a host of friends and relatives. Visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 from 10 to 11 am in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Memorial services will follow at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Sam Kanuley officiating.
