IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Matthew "Taylor"
Neal
May 14, 1990 – January 28, 2020
Matthew Taylor Neal was born as the chubbiest baby in America May 14, 1990 in Springfield, MO to Steve Neal of Fordland, MO and Chris Rodgers of Eureka Springs, AR. Matt graduated from Kickapoo High School in 2008 and attended the University of Central Missouri after graduation.
Matt loved his 5 little sisters, and being outdoors more than anything else. He enjoyed fishing in his Grandpa Patton's pond, hunting, floating, camping and hiking and spending as much time making his sisters know that he loved them as much as he could. Even though he could drive every family member crazy at times, he had a charismatic personality and an even bigger heart that made it impossible not to love him unconditionally. He is gone way too soon and will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him.
Matt is survived by his mother Chris Rodgers, stepfather Stephen Rodgers, father Steve Neal, stepmother Mandy Neal, sisters Mattie Crowder, Jackie Crowder, Addison Neal, Bailey Neal, and Cassidy Neal. He is also survived by grandparents Jerry and Mary Ellen Patton and Margaret Neal; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins too numerous to count.
Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 pm and funeral services will be held at Mt. Olive Methodist Church in Marionville, MO on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm with a burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Billings, MO.
