Matthew Mahlon Merrifield, 41, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 in Barnes Jewish Hospital.  He was born March 18, 1975, the son of Roland and Miriam Merrifield.

He is the brother of Joel Merrifield and his wife, Laura and uncle to Ben, Jack, Ryan and Isla.

He networked with his family in the family business.   His passions were playing music with friends, going to concerts and watching movies.

He will be forever remembered and forever loved.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2016 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Rabbi Barbara Block officiating.  Burial will follow in Temple Israel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Heart Transplant Association of St. Louis.
