Mary Rebecca Wise, age 67, of Springfield, Missouri passed away March 10, 2024 at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Houston, Texas November 15, 1956, the daughter of Charles and Janice (Newt) Newhart. Mary graduated from Central High School in 1975 and is survived by her husband, Gary Wise of 41 years and three sons, Chris, Justin, and Benjamin Wise, 7 grandkids and 3 great grandkids.

She was in the hotel business for over 20 years working at John Q. and Hilton properties. She loved her family and spread that same love with the people she worked with and always made it a point to bring out the best in who they are. She loved to be active outside in her flower beds and just relax and read a book. She always left a special spot in everyone's heart that she ever encountered, which is one of many reasons she will be missed.
