Mary Margaret Watts, 73, Springfield passed away at 4:27 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 in Magnolia Square Nursing and Rehab. She was born the daughter of Jack Reres and Gladys (Klien) Reres in Jackson County, Missouri.

She was a member of Real Life Church.  Mary loved her God, her family and her special friends. Her life was mostly happy, peaceful and fun, because of her loved ones. Mary was a born again Christian and her beautiful, gentle soul is now in Heaven with her Savior.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jaqueline "Jackie" Collinson and brother-in-law, William "Bill" Collinson.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Sarah Roughton and her husband, Gordon; grandson, Taylor Kalama, all of Springfield; grandson, Wesley Roughton, Joplin; grandson, Zachary Roughton, Diamond; niece, Anne Smith; nephews, Mike, Steve and Dan Sturdevant; and various other great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 in Real Life Church, with Pastor Tim Fleener officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude.
