Psalm 90:12 says...Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

The number of days in a life are significant, all the hours, minutes, and seconds are so valuable. Mary Watson was born October 10,1932 in Waynesville, Mo and died July 1, 2017 in Springfield, Mo surrounded by her five kids. We are thankful for the days of her life of 84 years.

For us, the last five days with our mother were a gift. In her final days, we were able to share through tears and laughter, the things you could only hope for knowing the days, hours and minutes were coming to an end on earth.  Things like: "I love you, thank you, you did a great job, I am sorry..." We stood together as an imperfect family who will always treasure our mother who helped teach us how to love and live, to work hard, to get back up... and to live life as an adventure.

Every time we think of her, we will be reminded that days are numbered, and life is short. We will forever be thankful for the last five days with our mom and the the promise of eternal life offered to all through Jesus. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Although we will never stop missing her, We are thankful for the numbers days we have shared.

Mary is survived by her daughter Sue and husband Brian Goddard of Springfield. Son, Joel Watson of Springfield, daughter, Jan and husband David Radel of Florissant, Mo. Son, Scott Watson and wife Susan of Springfield, Mo. Son, Ken Watson and wife Julie of Springfield, Mo. 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A private family celebration will be held on her birthday in October.
