Mary Lou Walsh-Fuller, 88 of Springfield passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Cox South Hospital. She was born October 7, 1920 in Purdy, MO the daughter of Everett and Sally Cox. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 15 years. She loved playing bridge and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved sewing and cooking for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Edward Walsh and a sister, Marjorie Pauls. Mary Lou is survived by her second husband, Robert Fuller of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Deborah Walsh of Little Rock, AR; a granddaughter, Jessica Walsh of Fayetteville, AR; a brother-in-law, Charles Pauls and a sister-in-law, Rose Walsh both of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with the Reverend Scott Watson officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 AM until service time.
