Mary (Linda) Tripp-Dark, 77, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on December 19, 2020 at Cox South from complications of Covid-19. She was born September 8, 1943, in Fredericktown, Missouri, to Paul and Irene (West) White.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas L. White and her first husband, Ed Tripp.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert I. Dark; sisters Betty (John) Whiteside and Connie Brown; step-daughter, Stephanie Stoner; step-son, Gregg (Sherry) Dark; and many other relatives and friends.

Linda was an avid bird watcher and could name almost any bird that appeared on one of her many bird feeders.  She loved flowers and gardening and could often be found sitting on the deck enjoying all her beautiful flowers and the bird's singing, with her two dogs, Buddy and Gracie under foot.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Linda's name to the American Cancer Society.
