Mary Mildred Loveridge Mahy, 109, died Saturday April 2, 2016. Mary was the only child of Ray and Phoebe Loveridge and was born December 18, 1906 in Mountain Home, Idaho. She grew up in Maryville, Missouri and moved to Kansas City, Mo in 1930 where she lived until moving to Springfield in 1971. She attended St. Paul Methodist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell M. Mahy and an infant son Gary Edward Mahy. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Mahy Brown, two granddaughters, Betsy Guastello and husband George, and Cindy Walker and husband Tom; and four great grandchildren Lauren Walker Wilder, John Guastello, Austin Walker, and Mary Helen Guastello.

Mary has chosen to donate her body to the medical school at Missouri University in Columbia under direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
