Mary Victoria Lofaro, aged 75, passed peacefully from this life on Feb. 6, 2018. Mary was born on Oct. 3, 1942, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to Lucia Renzelli and Nicholas Amato.

Mary attended Sewanhaka High School and graduated in 1960. After graduating high school, she completed a year of art school. Mary married the love of her life, Lawrence Lofaro September 1, 1962. Over the years Mary developed a love and a deep passion for cooking. She eventually owned her own Italian restaurant in downtown Springfield, Missouri, called Victoria's. After Victoria's came to a close, Mary focused on her growing catering business. She had the amazing opportunity to cater to people such as George H. W. Bush, Billy Ray Cyrus and even Chuck Norris.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucia and Nicholas Amato, and her husband, Lawrence John Lofaro.

She is survived by her four sons, Joe Lofaro and his wife, Susan, of Martin, Tennessee, and Mike Lofaro and his wife, Shelley, Nick Lofaro and his wife, Brandi, and Gene Lofaro and his wife, Sarah, all of Springfield, Missouri; her brother, Nick Amato and his wife, Dianne of Long Island, New York; her brother-in-law Richard and his wife, Ramona; and her grandchildren Daniel, Leslie, Alex, Kourtney, Bailey, Kaylyn, Madisyn, Katie, Jack and Caroline.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Springfield, MO.

A visitation will also be held on Saturday, February 10, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Franklin, TN. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm with Reverend Joseph Patrick Breen celebrating.
